Plain answers, no sales call.
The questions carriers ask before they start the pilot. If yours is not here, email us — a person answers.
The pilot and pricing
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. Every account starts on the free 30-day pilot with the whole platform switched on. No card, no fleet-size rule to qualify.
What happens after the 30 days?
Nothing breaks and nothing is charged. When you are ready, tell us your truck count; we move you onto the tier that fits and set up billing with you before anything is charged. Your data stays where it is.
What does a plan cost?
Tiers go by truck count, from 1–5 trucks up to 100+, and the bigger the fleet, the less each truck costs. Every price is on the pricing page — the one place we print them, so it is always current.
Is the whole platform on every tier?
Yes. The pilot and every tier get the same platform: TMS, document AI, accounting, payroll, compliance and an API. Bigger fleets get more bundled AI. There is no per-user charge and no charge for storage.
Will I be billed for AI overage?
No. Each tier includes a monthly AI allowance with a daily ceiling that stops runaway spend. We do not meter or bill overage. If your fleet keeps hitting the ceiling, we talk to you first, before anything about your plan changes.
Do calls and text messages cost extra?
They run on your own Twilio or Quo account, so you pay your carrier's price and keep the number. We do not mark up the phone bill.
Working with it
Does it work with my ELD?
OnTime Logs works today: connect it on the app's Integrations page and your trucks show on the live map, refreshed every 10 minutes. Samsara and Motive can be connected there too, but no customer has run a fleet through them yet — email us first and we will set it up with you. Using another ELD? Email us. No ELD sends engine fault codes into Haul IQ Drive yet.
Do you work with factoring companies?
Yes. Keep your factor on file, submit an invoice to them from A/R, and record the advance, the fee and the reserve as the money lands. The books follow each step, and the invoice is marked factored only after you confirm the funding.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. The API, included on every plan, reads your loads, drivers, invoices, documents and events. Any document downloads from the app. A complete export of your company's records is prepared on request within 10 business days, and after you cancel we keep your data for 30 days so you can export it.
Can I bring my existing paperwork in?
Yes. Drop your rate-cons, BOLs, PODs and other documents — one file or a .zip of thousands. The document AI reads and types each one, files what it is sure of to its load, driver or truck, and puts the rest in your review queue with the reason.
Does it run on my phone?
Yes. Install it from the browser on iPhone, Android or desktop — no app store. Get the app shows the steps for each.
The AI
What does the AI actually do?
It reads the paperwork you drop, forward or photograph and types the fields. What it is sure of, it files to the right load, driver or truck and takes the next step: a POD it can read marks the load delivered and drafts the invoice. What needs a second look waits in your review queue with the reason with the reason. There is one assistant, Hera — the Ask button — and it answers from your own company's records.
Who runs the models, and does my data train them?
The models that read your documents run inside Cloudflare's network (Workers AI), and so does the assistant today. Cloudflare's Workers AI data-usage page states: "Cloudflare does not use your Customer Content to (1) train any AI models made available on Workers AI or (2) improve any Cloudflare or third-party services, and would not do so unless we received your explicit consent." We never use your data to train general-purpose AI models. The Privacy Policy lists every company that touches your data, and it is updated before that list changes.
Can the AI send money or an invoice on its own?
Not unless you tell it to. Filing the load and drafting the invoice are automatic; sending the invoice, paying a bill or a settlement, and sending a factoring packet are your click. The few hands-off options — such as sending collection reminders on a schedule — are switches you turn on yourself, and they ship off.
Can I stop it?
Yes. One switch stops every AI action for your company — and if the system cannot confirm the switch is off, it stops anyway. Only a person can turn it back on. Any automatic step can also be turned down to "ask me first".
Drivers, brokers and shippers
How do drivers sign in?
Not through the office login. A driver opens hauliqdrive.com/driver: the link the dispatcher texted signs him in, or he signs up there with his email and password and picks his company — and the company approves him before he sees anything. What he sees is his own loads, his pay and what dispatch needs from him.
Do my brokers and shippers get a login?
Yes. They get their own portal at hauliqdrive.com/customer, with the sign-in link your office sends. They see their own shipments — never your driver pay.
Can I run more than one company?
Yes. Add a company with its own DOT and MC numbers and switch between them with one click, from one login.
